A quick and easy recipe for making Paula Deen’s famous 5 Minute Fudge.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, milk, and butter.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 1 minute without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and vanilla extract.
- Add nuts if desired and mix well.
- Pour into a greased 8×8 inch pan.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Can be refrigerated for longer shelf life.
