- 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
- 1 large Egg
- 3 tbsp Whole milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your baking sheets with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to ensure even baking.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer on medium-high speed for about 2 minutes, until light and fluffy.
- Add wet ingredients: To the butter and sugar mixture, add the peanut butter, egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Beat until the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
- Add dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed. Once combined, the dough should be thick and sticky.
- Shape the cookies: Use a cookie scoop or a tablespoon to form dough balls, placing them about 3 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet. Use a fork to gently flatten each cookie and create a crisscross pattern on top.
- Bake: Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden. They will be soft but will firm up as they cool.
- Cool: Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes to set. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
