Description

Homemade peppermint marshmallows that are fluffy and flavorful.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Grease a baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Slowly pour the sugar mixture into the egg whites while mixing.
  5. Add peppermint extract and salt, then mix until well combined.
  6. Pour the mixture into the greased dish and spread evenly.
  7. Let it sit for at least 4 hours or until set.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
