- 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
- Add sliced steak to the skillet. Cook until browned.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Layer cooked rice in bowls.
- Add steak and vegetable mixture on top of rice.
- Sprinkle provolone cheese over the top.
- Cover until cheese melts.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use chicken or tofu as an alternative to steak.
- Feel free to add mushrooms for extra flavor.
