Ingredients

- 2 medium red onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
Instructions
- Slice the red onions thinly.
- In a pot, combine apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat.
- Once sugar and salt dissolve, remove from heat.
- Pour the mixture over the sliced onions in a jar.
- Let cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
