Description
A delicious pineapple heaven cake that combines layers of fluffy cake with sweet pineapple and cream.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in the crushed pineapple.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans.
- Once cooled, layer the cakes and spread whipped cream in between and on top.
Notes
- Store the cake in the refrigerator.
- Use fresh pineapple for a more intense flavor.
- Can be served with extra whipped cream on the side.
