Ingredients

- 2 pounds pork shoulder, cubed
- 4 cups green tomatillos, husked and quartered
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 jalapeños, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the pork over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Stir in the tomatillos, jalapeños, cumin, and oregano.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours, until pork is tender.
- Season with salt and pepper before serving.

- Serve with tortillas or rice.
- Adjust heat level by adding more or fewer jalapeños.
