Description
A creamy and cheesy potato leek gratin.
Ingredients

- 2 cups sliced leeks
- 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- In a skillet, sauté leeks and garlic until soft.
- Layer half of the potatoes in the baking dish.
- Spread half of the leek mixture over the potatoes.
- Pour half of the cream over the layers.
- Sprinkle half of the cheeses on top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use different cheese for variation.
- Let the gratin sit for a few minutes before slicing.
