Description

A creamy and cheesy potato leek gratin.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups sliced leeks
  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. In a skillet, sauté leeks and garlic until soft.
  4. Layer half of the potatoes in the baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the leek mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Pour half of the cream over the layers.
  7. Sprinkle half of the cheeses on top.
  8. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  10. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can use different cheese for variation.
  • Let the gratin sit for a few minutes before slicing.
