Quinoa lentil burgers are a healthy and delicious plant-based meal option.
Ingredients

- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
- 1 cup cooked lentils
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Instructions
- Cook quinoa according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooked quinoa, lentils, sautéed onion and garlic, breadcrumbs, parsley, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

- These burgers freeze well.
