Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, oil, egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread softened butter on the dough.
  8. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the butter.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  10. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  12. For frosting, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  13. Spread frosting over warm rolls and serve.
