Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, egg, food coloring, and vanilla.
  4. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until combined.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  7. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the butter.
  8. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  9. Place slices in a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  11. For icing, mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  12. Spread icing over warm rolls and serve.
