Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Bring to a simmer and return meatballs to the skillet.
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
- Mix cornstarch and water; stir into the gravy to thicken.
- Serve meatballs with gravy over rice or mashed potatoes.
