Description

A hearty casserole with layers of biscuits and creamy sausage gravy.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  4. Add milk to the skillet and stir in the flour mixture until thickened.
  5. Grease a baking dish and layer biscuit pieces on the bottom.
  6. Pour sausage gravy over the biscuits.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top, if using.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
