Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage
- 1 can refrigerated biscuits
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook sausage in a skillet until browned.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add milk to the skillet and stir in the flour mixture until thickened.
- Grease a baking dish and layer biscuit pieces on the bottom.
- Pour sausage gravy over the biscuits.
- Sprinkle cheese on top, if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use turkey sausage for a lighter option.
- For a vegetarian version, skip the sausage and use vegetable broth.
