Description
Seared scallops served with a spicy cajun cream sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound scallops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add scallops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove scallops from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream, cajun seasoning, and lemon juice.
- Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add scallops back to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh scallops for best results.
- Adjust spice level by modifying the amount of cajun seasoning.
