Ingredients

  • 1 pound scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add scallops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Remove scallops from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, cajun seasoning, and lemon juice.
  6. Stir and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add scallops back to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
