Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 eggs
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and bell pepper, sauté until soft.
- Add garlic, paprika, and cumin, cook for 1 minute.
- Add diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Make two wells in the mixture, crack an egg into each well.
- Cover and cook until eggs are set.
- Toast the bread slices.
- Serve shakshouka over the toast and garnish with parsley.

- Use any bread you prefer.
- Add chili for extra heat.
- Feta cheese can be added for flavor.
