Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in a skillet.
- Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of meat sauce in the slow cooker.
- Add a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.
- Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture.
- Add a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, ending with meat sauce and mozzarella on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
Notes
- Use no-boil lasagna noodles for easier layering.
- Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
