Description
A hearty slow cooker chili made with ground beef, beans, and spices.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add the beans, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the spices according to your taste.
- Top with cheese or sour cream if desired.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
