Description
A simple recipe for meatballs cooked in tomato sauce using a slow cooker.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups tomato sauce
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into small meatballs.
- Place meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Pour tomato sauce over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Serve with pasta or bread.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for beef.
- Add chili flakes for spice.
- Use homemade or store-bought tomato sauce.
