Easy and delicious slow cooker sloppy joes made with ground beef and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and green bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Serve on hamburger buns.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add hot sauce.
- Can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
