- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the sole fillets with salt and pepper.
- Dredge the fillets in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the fillets to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the fillets and set aside.
- Add remaining butter and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to combine.
- Pour the sauce over the fillets before serving.
