Instructions
- Peel and slice sweet potatoes into rounds.
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Add sweet potatoes to the pot and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30-40 minutes until tender.
- Remove lid and cook for an additional 10 minutes to thicken the glaze.
- Serve warm.
