Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk together.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Use a spaetzle maker or colander to drop dough into boiling water.
- Cook until spaetzle floats to the top.
- Remove with a slotted spoon.
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté spaetzle for a few minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness of the dough with more milk if needed.
- Serve with cheese or gravy for added flavor.
