- 12 oz pappardelle pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pappardelle according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir and bring to a simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, mix well.
- Toss in cooked pasta, coating it evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Use fresh herbs for better flavor.
- Can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
