A delicious and easy-to-make spicy salmon sushi bake.
Ingredients

- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cooked salmon, flaked
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, combine rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover. Cook for 18 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Stir into the cooked rice.
- Spread the rice evenly in a baking dish.
- Mix salmon, mayonnaise, and sriracha in a bowl.
- Spread the salmon mixture over the rice.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
- Top with avocado slices and nori strips.
- Garnish with green onions before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for the best flavor.
- Adjust sriracha to your spice preference.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
