Description
A flavorful and easy-to-make sushi bake with spicy salmon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces salmon, cooked and flaked
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- Green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Rinse the sushi rice until the water runs clear.
- Combine rice and water in a pot; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt in a small bowl; stir until dissolved.
- Once rice is cooked, stir in the vinegar mixture.
- Spread rice in a baking dish.
- Mix salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Spread salmon mixture over the rice.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Garnish with nori strips and green onions before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
- Can substitute salmon with crab or tuna if desired.
- Best served warm.
