  • 100g butter, softened
  • 150ml milk, warm
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 packet of instant yeast

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast, let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Add softened butter and egg to the flour mixture.
  4. Pour in the yeast mixture and knead until smooth.
  5. Add dried fruits and almonds, knead until incorporated.
  6. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  8. Shape the dough into a loaf and place on a baking tray.
  9. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
