A light and airy dessert made with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons cold water
Instructions
- Puree the strawberries in a blender until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the strawberry puree with sugar.
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat the gelatin mixture until dissolved, then mix into the strawberry puree.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
- Adjust sugar based on sweetness of strawberries.
- Can substitute gelatin with agar-agar for a vegetarian option.
