- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic, and ginger.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce to thicken.
- Coat meatballs in the teriyaki sauce before serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
