Description

A flavorful dish featuring salmon glazed with a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Place salmon in a dish and pour marinade over it. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat.
  4. Remove salmon from marinade, reserving the marinade.
  5. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  6. In a saucepan, heat reserved marinade over medium heat.
  7. Dissolve cornstarch in water, then add to the saucepan. Stir until sauce thickens.
  8. Serve salmon with teriyaki sauce drizzled on top.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
