Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup cinnamon sugar (for topping)
- 1/2 cup cinnamon butter (for serving)
Instructions
- Mix warm milk, water, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs to the dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and shape into rolls.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
Notes
- Use warm water to activate yeast.
- For best results, let the rolls rise in a warm place.
- Serve warm with cinnamon butter.
