Description
This is the best banana pudding ever, rich and creamy with layers of flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 box of vanilla wafers
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 4 cups of milk
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, flour, and salt.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Whisk in egg yolks and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- In a serving dish, layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, and the pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used.
- Beat heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spread over the top.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
