Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup truffle oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add milk gradually, whisking until smooth.
  5. Stir in cheeses until melted.
  6. Add truffle oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Combine cheese sauce with cooked macaroni.
  8. Pour into a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until golden.
