Description
A delicious turkey bacon melt sandwich with melted cheese and crispy bacon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices of whole grain bread
- 4 slices of turkey bacon
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 1 leaf of lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
Instructions
- Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
- Toast the bread slices lightly.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer one slice of bread with turkey bacon, cheese, lettuce, and tomato.
- Top with the other slice of bread, spread side down.
- Grill the sandwich in the skillet until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Cut in half and serve warm.
Notes
- Use any type of cheese you prefer.
- Add avocado for extra creaminess.
- Serve with a side of chips or salad.
