Delicious vanilla cupcakes topped with blush pink buttercream frosting.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (for frosting)
- 1–2 tablespoons heavy cream
- Pink food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar and cream.
- Add food coloring to achieve desired blush pink color.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes.
Notes
- Store cupcakes in an airtight container.
- Frosting can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
- Adjust the amount of food coloring for a lighter or darker pink.
