Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened (for frosting)
  • 12 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Pink food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  3. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  8. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cupcakes cool completely.
  11. For the frosting, beat the butter until creamy, then add powdered sugar and cream.
  12. Add food coloring to achieve desired blush pink color.
  13. Frost the cooled cupcakes.
