Description

Vanillekipferl are traditional Austrian vanilla crescent cookies that melt in your mouth.


Ingredients

  • 200g all-purpose flour
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 80g powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, ground almonds, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar.
  4. Add vanilla extract to the butter mixture.
  5. Combine both mixtures and form into a dough.
  6. Shape the dough into small crescent shapes.
  7. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
  9. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar.
