Delicious vegan black bean brownies that are rich and fudgy.

- 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a food processor, blend black beans until smooth.
- Add maple syrup, cocoa powder, peanut butter, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Blend until fully combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Spread the mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can substitute almond butter for peanut butter.
- Try adding nuts for extra texture.
