Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, combine molasses, almond milk, and oil.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Grease a cake pan and pour in the batter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be topped with vegan frosting or served plain.
