Description

Vegan gummy bears are chewy, fruity candies made without animal products.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fruit juice
  • 2 tablespoons agar-agar powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup corn starch

Instructions

  1. Combine fruit juice and agar-agar in a saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
  3. Add maple syrup and vanilla extract, mix well.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in corn starch until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture into gummy bear molds.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
  7. Remove from molds and store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • Use any fruit juice of your choice.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
