Description
Vegan gummy bears are chewy, fruity candies made without animal products.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup fruit juice
- 2 tablespoons agar-agar powder
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup corn starch
Instructions
- Combine fruit juice and agar-agar in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- Add maple syrup and vanilla extract, mix well.
- Remove from heat and stir in corn starch until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into gummy bear molds.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
- Remove from molds and store in an airtight container.
Notes
- Use any fruit juice of your choice.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
