Ingredients

- 2 large potatoes
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and grate the potatoes.
- Rinse the grated potatoes in cold water and drain well.
- In a bowl, mix the grated potatoes, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Scoop the potato mixture into the skillet and flatten it down.
- Cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from skillet and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder or paprika.
- Make sure to drain excess moisture from the grated potatoes.
