Description
A creamy and rich vegan version of the classic hollandaise sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup cashews, soaked
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Soak cashews in water for 2-4 hours.
- Drain and rinse the cashews.
- Add cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, water, Dijon mustard, turmeric, and salt to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve warm over your favorite dish.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Reheat gently on the stove.
- Great on vegetables, tofu, or as a dip.
