Description
A delicious vegan version of a classic omelette.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, water, turmeric, black salt, and baking powder until smooth.
- Add chopped vegetables to the batter.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes until the edges lift and the bottom is golden.
- Flip and cook for another 3-5 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve hot.
