Creamy and savory dip made with Vidalia onions.
Ingredients

- 2 cups Vidalia onions, finely chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped Vidalia onions and sauté until soft.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add sautéed onions to the mixture and stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Serve warm with chips or bread.
