Description
A hearty and flavorful white turkey chili made with chicken as a substitute.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 can (15 oz) white beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chilies
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup corn, frozen or canned
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground turkey over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until soft.
- Stir in the cumin and oregano. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add the beans, green chilies, corn, and chicken broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- This chili can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freezes well for up to 3 months.
- Adjust the spice level by adding jalapeños if desired.
