Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the zucchini thinly and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground turkey until browned.
  4. Add marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, layer zucchini slices, turkey mixture, and ricotta mixture.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
