- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and slice the bananas.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sugar and stir until it dissolves.
- Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring.
- Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and add bananas.
- Serve warm with nuts if desired.
