- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Add chicken wings to the marinade and let them sit for 30 minutes.
- Remove wings from marinade and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through.
- In a saucepan, heat leftover marinade until boiling.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the marinade to thicken.
- Coat baked wings with the thickened glaze.
- Return wings to the oven for an additional 10 minutes.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil wings for 2-3 minutes after glazing.
- Adjust honey for sweetness preference.
- Serve with celery and blue cheese dressing.
