Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon dried lavender
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, and butter until crumbly.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a greased 8-inch square pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, lavender, salt, and baking powder.
- Pour mixture over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Use fresh lavender for stronger flavor.
