Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
  2. Dip each ladyfinger cookie in the coffee and coffee liqueur briefly.
  3. Layer half of the dipped ladyfingers in a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the lemon mixture over the ladyfingers.
  5. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
  6. Top with the remaining lemon mixture.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger lemon flavor, add more lemon zest.
