Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup limoncello
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and lemon zest until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  4. Dip ladyfingers in coffee briefly, then layer in a dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
  7. Chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
