Mango Dessert Bars are a sweet and tangy treat made with fresh mango puree and a buttery crust.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup mango puree
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and powdered sugar.
- Add softened butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine mango puree, granulated sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and baking powder.
- Pour the mango mixture over the baked crust.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until set.
- Let it cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use ripe mangoes for best flavor.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- Can be served with whipped cream.
